HomesForHedgehogs
HomesForHedgehogs aims to help our only native hedgehog species in its natural habitat through ensuring that there are enough spaces for them to live in. We're doing this through providing hedgehog homes to areas that are lacking adequate spaces for hedgehogs to live, and also thorough educating and advising people on how better to cater for hedgehogs in their own gardens.
We are currently trying to determine where, in our local area, our hedgehog populations have taken up residence. To find that out we want to carry out surveys of possible inhabited areas. In order to do that we are going to need to purchase the equipment to carry out a footprint tracking survey using footprint tracking tunnels.
