HomesForHedgehogs

We are a locally focused charity, based in Leicestershire just outside of the city of Leicester. We currently employ zero staff, which means all of our work is carried out by volunteers in their spare time! This lets us focus our funds on our main aim, which is helping our native hedgehogs. HomesForHedgehogs was started in February 2018 when I realised that, while there were a lot of places doing excellent work providing hedghog hospitals and hedgehog rescues, there weren't many places trying to solve the issue of the dwindling numbers of hedgehogs in the wild before they get injured or sick. Because of this, I decided to start HomesForHedgehogs to try and provide more and better habitats for our hedgehogs through installing hedgehog homes and making our local environment more hedgehog friendly.
